About Me

Carmen: If not now, then when? This is what I said years ago when I decided to change my life and take a 'later in life' OE (Overseas Experience). OE's aren't customary for those where I'm from, especially later in life. This sounded like a challenge to me. The daughter of a former diplomat, I was born overseas, but hadn't lived outside the US since I was a wee girl. I thought it was time to change that. Fate is what brought me to New Zealand. The adventure, the beauty, the lifestyle, and what I'm learning about myself, others and life is why I've stayed.
